Couple lunches here were quite good. Fresh tasty food, attentive service, and nice menu. Unexpected strip plaza location for dining but don't let that put you off. Definitely worth a stop.
We went with fish tacos and greek salad. The tacos are 2 to an order. They suggested that frying the fish was best, so we did. The Greek salad had all the usual elements. The food was fresh and the dressing was in the correct amount. The tacos had fresh cod. The breading was light and unobtrusive. Sides of black beans and rice were the sides. This meal was solid. Service was attentive. I was very pleased.
My favorite fish restaurant in Sarasota. I go every couple of weeks. There special for the day is always a good choice. Never had a bad meal here. Reasonable prices. Good, quick staff.

What great staff. Held door for a disabled person coming and going. They all are cheerful and it seems like a very happy working environment. Helpful with answering questions re menu etc. The service was quick and food was hot. The lobster roll was just okay- rather expensive and would not do a repeat on this one. Husband liked lobster bisque. The hush puppies and big bang shrimp were delicious. Would definitely return as they were half full when they opened at 11:30. Would like to try their fish dinners. J
Very nice casual place . Went for lunch . Wait staff excellent they actually greeted us on the side walk and opened the door for us . Amazingly efficient & cheerful work staff. Food was very good . Nice size portions and reasonably priced . Daily specials , Easy parking . Menu has plenty of selections . Food all fresh . Food Cooked perfectly . Well run place . Would definitely go back .
Small, popular, busy spot but we were able to get seated quickly on a hot Thursday night in July. Friendly and attentive waitress. I ordered the fresh market snapper blackened. It was a little over cooked, so kind of on the dry side, that's why the 4 stars. My boyfriend got the Kacey's platter and he said the ribs, crab cake and coconut shrimp were good the potato pancake was ok. I liked my green beans side and hush puppies. Solid spot.
We stopped here after watching my grandson's basketball game because of the high Yelp reviews. They were correct. Everything we ordered was very good and the prices were reasonable. We started off with the tortilla soup which was great. Greek Salads,Fish Shrimp Combo, Ravioli Bolognese,Mahi-Mahi Taco,Chicken Fingers,and a Philly Cheesesteak. Everyone loved their food. Service was really quick as they weren't very busy. The inside was very clean and very plain.
An excellent lunch was had here on our inaugural visit. The location was perfect for our day, and while located in a strip mall, it offers plenty of parking and covered outdoor seating (views are limited) as well as the indoor space. Most of the tables were occupied during our visit, and deservedly do! We stuck with fresh fish and were full & pleased afterwards. My two cod tacos came with abundant sides, a bargain for $14. My wife ordered snapper with crumbled taco shells(a little crunch) in a wrap and loved it. Definitely a repeat!
